The Project-Based Learning programme offered by our partner, the Steinbeis School of Management and Technology (SMT), is a specialised study model in which the course of study and practical work within a company are closely interlinked.

  • Build up your expertise & lead your own project

    Every project-based degree programme includes a project that you carry out within a company. This means you can start generating added value whilst you’re still studying

  • Gain expert knowledge through our support

    At the start of the project, you will be assigned a company mentor and a university mentor. They will be on hand to support you throughout your PKS!

  • Experiencing theory in a practical setting – practice-oriented learning

    Knowledge gained from reading can be consolidated directly by applying it in day-to-day work, thereby broadening one’s understanding of the real world of work!

The Steinbeis School of Management and Technology (SMT), a school within Steinbeis University, delivers the Project Competence Programme®. In doing so, the SMT works closely with the Steinbeis Center of Management and Engineering (SCME) and its partner companies. The SMT is responsible for the continuing professional development programme, whilst the SCME handles project identification and consultancy.
