Your career-integrated Master’s programme is run by the Steinbeis School of Management and Technology (SMT) at Steinbeis University.
Your tasks: What you can expect
- Analysing and benchmarking modern AI methods (e.g. 3D LLMs, text-to-CAD) for use in the design process
- Development of proof-of-concepts for the application of generative AI in overall vehicle development
- Research on current trends in AI and their transferability to engineering processes
- Direct collaboration with specialist departments to integrate AI solutions into real development workflows
- Collaboration in operational fault management in the entire vehicle (including analysis, tracking and documentation)
- Further development and optimisation of an existing fault clearance system
- Supporting the team in day-to-day operations
Your profile
What you bring to your project company:

Sound foundations in artificial intelligence (e.g. from projects, internships or student research projects)

Interest in technical interrelationships in design and vehicle development

Initial experience with Python desirable

Structured, independent and solution-orientated work

You are a team player, communicative and like to contribute your own ideas
Requirements for studying at Steinbeis SMT:

Very good to good degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, data science or a comparable field of study

Very good written and spoken German and English (at least B2 level)
